التقى رئيس مجلس النواب محمد الحلبوسي، اليوم الأحد، رئيس مجلس الشورى السعودي على هامش مشاركته في مؤتمر البرلمانات العربية الشيخ الدكتور عبد الله بن محمد بن إبراهيم آل الشيخ.
وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، وسبل تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق في المجال البرلماني، فضلًا عن توحيد المواقف في المحافل البرلمانية على الصعيدين العربي والدولي.
كما التقى نظيره الكويتي مرزوق علي الغانم، وبحثَ معه عددا من الملفات والقضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وتفعيل لجان الصداقة النيابية بين البلدين، فضلا عن تنشيط التعاون بين العراق والكويت وسبل تطويرها وتعزيزها بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للشعبين الشقيقين.
وأكد أهمية توسيع آفاق التعاون في المجالات كافة، ولا سيما ملف الإعمار من خلال تشجيع المستثمرين على الاستثمار في العراق؛ لإعادة إعمار المدن المدمرة والمناطق التي تعاني نقصا في الخدمات، فضلا عن المساهمة في جهود عودة النازحين والاستقرار.
Al-Halboosi meets Kuwaiti and Saudi counterparts
The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi met, on Sunday, the President of the Saudi Shoura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al al-Sheikh, on the sidelines of his participation in the conference of Arab Parliaments in Cairo.
The meeting reviewed the bilateral relations, ways of enhancing cooperation and coordination in the parliamentary field, as well as uniting positions in parliamentary forums at the Arab and international levels.
H.E. also met his Kuwaiti counterpart, Marzouq Ali al-Ghanim and discussed with him a number of issues of common interest, activating the parliamentary friendship committees between the two countries, as well as activating cooperation between Iraq and Kuwait and means of enhancing them in a way that serves the common interests of the two brotherly peoples.
Al-Halboosi stressed the importance of expanding the horizons of cooperation in all fields, especially the file of reconstruction by encouraging investors to invest in Iraq, to rebuild the destroyed cities and underserved areas, as well as contribute to the efforts of the return of displaced persons and stability.
